1984 TC - The egr valve seems to be opening etc as required - however I hear
what you would describe as a exhaust leak, thru the "carb" , loud nuf to be plainly heard in the car as you start moving from a light - I think the EGR is ok
BUT could the base plate, the EGR is mounted on, be burned through , or would this be a gasket - I have tried removing the vacuum line and I do not hear the exhaust sound then -
