i have an 00 LS sedan without the sport package. I had some body damage and needed to replace the front bumper. Turns out the one i got was the sport bumper without the chrome on it. No big deal right. So i order the rear one last week, but cant figure out why every single sport bumper being sold on the web for the LS is missing a piece on the bottom grille of the passenger side. I have no problem ordering it, but no one can seem to tell me wh ythey all come with out it and what exactly its for? Thanks.

oh yeh check out my question i posted before this about noise from my front wheels. Everyone seems to be ignoring that one....

does the missing piece seem to be square? i read somewhere on here that it was for a hook or something.

It sounds like you're describing the tow hook mount cover. It's probably listed separately from the bumper cover, so you'll need to order one. Bill Jenkins (TeamFord; see his banner ad to the right of eastcoast's post) can hook you with this if anyone can.
