91 Caddy Deville Transmission Solenoids

Hey! I Just bought a Caddy - 91 Deville with 60K miles. Problem is - it's been sitting for about 18 months. I changed the oil, tuned it up and getting ready to do the coolant and transmission. Only problem I've found so far is that the transmission from a stop seems to be starting off in 2nd gear. Otherwise it runs very, very well.

I read somewhere that the transmission solenoids or the connectors or grounds could be the problem. I looked up the price of these solenoids and they don't seem real expensive. Are they hard to change out? And where are they on the transmission?

I've been a mechanic for 20 years, but am unfamiliar with the transmission and don't want to make a mistake.

What do you think?

Thanks:D
