got 2 new head rest monitors for my Lincoln Aviator. doesn't match my factory leather so i'm gonna buy 2 more new head rest monitors from myron and davis. also got a pioneer d1 navigation with the speed sensor hack so i can watch tv while driving. my friends are enjoying the playstation 2 as well..
please feel free to ask any questions about the installs done...

i got a couple of questions if you all have time to help a fellow owner out:
1 - my steering wheel vibrates when making sharp turns
2 - car makes a loud whoozing noise like i got a ghost at 70mhp
3 - my driver windows doesn't roll all the way down, i still get an inch left
4 - how the hell do i get my factory rear dvd system to work on an after market radio

most reputable audio and trim shops sell dye. you can match them for a tenth of the cost.

1 . Steering wheel vibration ? check your power steering fluid level?
2 .That sound is probably the rear axel whine my 2000 LS used to do that
3 .Maybe your regulator is going or your window track could be worn out and the window is binding on the way down.
4 .Like decibel said any audio shop should be able to help you out.

Just my 2 canadian cents. Hope this helps. The tv's in the headrest look great.

I dyed my headrests. Very simple, actually. I'm an LS owner, and have a graphite interior. Whatever color interior you have, you can easily dye the headrests. The headrests I ordered were a medium dark grey, a stark contrast from my light graphite interior.

You will want to find a local auto body parts shop. NOT Advance Auto, Pep Boys, etc..but the local shop where body shops obtain their supplies.

There are 4 easy steps.

#1. Using masking tape and paper, mask off the actual screens.
#2. Clean the headrests with SEM brand SEM SOAP.
#3. Spray on SEM Vinyl Prep or Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. Let Dry.
#4. Spray on the dye. Let Dry. Repeat. Let Dry. Repeat.

If you cant find SEM locally, here is a link:

Trust me. If you do it right...taking your time, it works perfectly. Especially for headrests which generally don't take a constant rubbing like a seat bolster. SEM has a TON of colors...one of them will be close enough to match your interior.
