ok. .. i just bought a 1993 VIII. love it. the person i bought it off of just put in a new air ride system.. totaling him 1500. only problem is about 5 mins when driving. the "check air ride system" comes on. and it seems like its pumped up all the way. is there a valve i can turn on to release the air from the bag. ... i dont know a hole lot about the air suspention.. but it seems like the car is above the sensor. and it doesnt know it.. so it pumps it up to get to the hight it is suposto be at. but when i think about it... that cant be right.. because when you move the sensor down. the car lowers (from what i read) any help with this would be very helpful

i belive i figured out what is wronge with it.. i went to http://www.americanairsuspension.com/ and read about common air suspention problems. well, i found out that if the check air ride system light comes on after 45 seconds. its a venting problem.. and waaaa laaa. i timed it.. and at about 50 - 55 seconds. the light turned on. timing may not have been perfect by me. anyways. i need to replace the venting solenoids in the dryer. my question to you mark 8 lovers. Where is the dryer? lol. well.. at least its not a huge expense. thanks for all help from everyone that responds. greatly apreciated

You're gonna need to replace the compressor if it is indeed a bad vent valve. They are integrated into one unit. I would replace the dryer as well. Go to americanairsuspension.com and buy one of their remans. If nothing else, you'll know you have a good compressor and dryer.
