help on Lincoln Mark VIII Air Suspension

hi i have a 1993 lincoln markVIII, about 2 to 3 times a week the front slams after a few hours and the other days its find, so i'm thinking its not a leak because its not doing it all the time. any help would be nice,

Most likely it is a leak. Here is what you do.....Park the car, and then pop the trunk and turn off the air ride system and if it is low in the morning you have a leak. Now, it MAY not lower the first time that you try it. Try it a few times, but if at any point it is low in the morning you have a leak.

THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING TOO CRAPPY SOLENOID..NOT SURE

It is possible, but not likely, unless the solenoid was removed in the past. If not, they usually do not go bad. What usually happens, when someone pops the solenoid valve out, they do not clean/grease the orings/solenoid opening before they put the solenoid back in, and it binds when going back in. It will seal, but not for too long. Not saying that it is not the problem, but might not be.
