It is just that the truck has more sense than you do. It is rejecting your choice of teams. Take the truck to the magnet store and let it pick the team that it likes. Then you will just have to switch to that team.

As a little side note, if it picks the Eagles, or the Steelers, shoot it quick and put it out of it's misery.

I think the tailgate and hood are fiber glass. I had an 2003 and it would not hold a magnet either.
