Jaguar engine in LS

Is it possible to do a complete S-type R 4.2 Supercharged engine in the LS. Someone joked about that on another thread, but I was wondering if that was possible. I love the look of the LS and tonight a newer Z28 pulled up to me at a light and just walked away when it turned green. I want my LS to be faster! An LS with a meaty engine that you don't have to mod the hood would be nice. Also I want to hear people's kill stories in their modded LS's. (Real stories not the ones in your dreams!!) Thanks guys.

anything is possible with time and money.

But this swap will be larger than you think.

The Jag uses a totally different electronics setup, PCM, wiring, ...etc and the VVT was a 'stepped' VVT versus the LS totally variable type.

Besides that 'platform' they are not as similar as you may think...

Trust us when we say that you would be better off buying a use S-Type R and replacing the body panels and roof with those from an LS.
