If its like mine then the only thing that is broken is the actual inside handle. The replacement part was about $70 from Ford if I remember right. Its easy to do yourself, the hardest part I found was drilling out the rivets from the old handle. Then you really only need to get some screws with matching nuts, reach your hand in behind the handle and thread them in and tighten them down. Did your handle break right off or just stop working? When mine didnt work, I found I could pull the handle, and then push the lock part of the handle further into the unlocked position and it would open for me. Hopefully nothing in the cable mechanism is broken and its just the handle. They're cheap plastic so its a common problem.

And unfortunately the pass. side handle you have won't work because your lock would end up on the bottom if you did that and the holes wouldnt match up. Good luck though. If you need a quick fix, take the door panel off, drill out the rivets and get the old handle off, then you can just pull on the cable to open the door. Still ghetto, but you won't have to open the window and reach out like a fool. (we've all been there, its unbecoming of a luxury car haha)

the part is only 36 bucks throught fordteamparts.com. u talked ot bill jenkins today about getting the handle. You can look inside and see if the handle itself snapped. its a common issue. Ive been putting it off for a while. If u wanna stop rlling down the window, you can use the actual lock as a handle and push it with your thumb. takes som getting used to but beats rolling the window down.
