I have a kit here I need to get rid of. These are a left and right headlamp for th e 2003-2006 model LS with HID lamps. Not sure if you can retofit these to a non HID, but the ballast and ignitor are part of the lamp.

6W4Z-13008-DB List $571.27 LVC $300.00

Anyone know if these can fit a 2000-2002 model?

they can but you need to replace a bracket that holds the lights

Does anyone know if these will work with a non-HID LS? I imagine anything is possible but is it easy? Couldnt be any much harder than aftermarket HID right? I've been wanting to upgrade to HID for a while now and that seems to be a pretty good deal on the lights. What is the color temp rating on these factory parts?

thanks,

Like the previous poster before you, you need to buy a bracket to get the new lights to go in.

Im pretty sure the stock temperature is probally ~4500k

I dont think so. I have an 04 LS. These lights are for 03-06 and will fit all those models without modification. I was speaking of the wiring involved. I do not have HID and would like to. Is there a harnass I will need or will I have to do some splicing?

Here is what the back of the HID looks like

My '06 wasn't equiped with HIDs. But one of those ears can be shaved off and it will work fine. Plugs right in.

Edit: By ears I mean those little nubs on the white connector. No wiring. Just shaving.

Some have fabricated an adapter and hooked up the HIDs to the non-HID system, but the HID wiring is different than the non-HID wiring. Among other things, the HIDs use a relay that the non-HIDs don't have, and the HIDs and non-HIDs connect to different pins at the FEM.

If that's important or not, I don't know.

If your car is a 03+ they are a straight swap. I have done it on my 04 25 min at most. All plugs work without modification. The unit is self contained,
