Hey, I was thinking of buying a new Corvette, what do you guys think is it a good idea? or should I buy something else?

yes yes and yes-but if $s are not the issue step up to the cadillac version.Dollar for dollar the vette out performs the imports!!!!

Vette is said to be the best bang for buck as far as high-performance cars go.
