Lincoln should really think of improving the Navigator speedwise. The interior and exterior has a great finish and it seems lincoln is only concerned about their exterior and interior. They need to focus on the Horses for the Navigator. Some great points about the interior/exterior are (It has a great finish, It looks really nice compared to other vehicles, It feels modern, It is luxurious, It brings out an SUV comfort feel). The only thing wrong is it's HP meaning compared to most SUVs it is (Slower). That is basically it, I feel Lincoln should start to improve on speed, the escalade has more than enough power it is equipped with 403HP, but is behind the Navigator in looks. The Lincoln Navigator should have the same amount of speed as the escalade, or atleast more than it has now.Then it will be the one in first place. While the others struggle for second place. The navigator is already named the best luxury SUV out there. The Lincoln Navigator has a rich feeling to it, also I think it will attract more consumers into buying the SUV. You never know, Lincoln should have kept the 03-06 shape going for a couple more years. Anyway the Lincoln Navigator is a great SUV, and there is a rumour it may have a 6.2 Liter V-8 engine for next year. Just hope it is true. Lincoln has the comfort down to begin with, but they dont have the speed to top it all off. Not that 300 Horses isn't enough, it is just that it just doesn't suit an SUV, of it's size and shape. It should be just a bit more. The navigator is on the market for a lot of consumers, I have seen many rappers owning one, business men, a lot of rich people also. I own one too of the 2003-2004 bodystyle. Which I thought was truthfully better. So basically what I am saying is Lincoln should Improve the Navigator's horses, and work a bit on the exterior. The interior is very rich and modern also the older models had a great exterior. I really do hope Lincoln considers some of these things, and maybe improve on the Lincoln Navigator, and other vehicles also. I hope this hasn't been posted before.

I agree with you. But if you look back from 1998 to 2001 the Navigator was the most powerful suv on the road with those 300 horses. It has only been since GM started the HP wars that the 300 hp seemed "lacking." Also, remeber that Ford was working on the Hurricane 6.2 V8 in 2004 long before GM had this 6.2 engine. They cancelled it when gas shot up and suv sales plumetted. Ford is supposed to debut the Boss (they dropped the hurricane name after Katrina) engine in the 2008 suv line. Also the "best in class fuel economy" claimed by Cadillac has yet to be seen by any review done to date.
