Man am I glad that freagin nightmare is over ...

I started around 8:30 this morning and finished around 8:30 PM! I probably would have been done sooner but my son and his friend decided that today was a good time to fix the brakes on their bikes ...LOL. Anyways, this all started by me getting a jerking feeling when going up a hill. I also noticed that my car felt as if the power was just getting sucked out in certain driveing scenerios. I decided that this weekend was a good time to pull the VC's and replace the gaskets seeing how I noticed there was oil around the plugs. Unfortunately, when I went to go buy some COP's there were none to be had around the hood ... ANYWHERE !!! At that point I decided to clean around the plugs and replaced the gaskets. When I put it all back together I took her for a spin and almost dropped a brick... She felt better than when I got her 10K miles ago... "Just hit 75K". Could be a little premature but I'm gonna drive her around for a while and see if things stay positive. Wish me luck on saving the $$$.

Saved $$$ but bruised the heel out of some vein on the forearm... Could that engine bay be any tighter?

Dropped the kids off at school and took the windy country road in to work this morning and still good... It was about 42 degrees this morning too and no sputtering. Felt solid. Now all I have to do is get off my ass and start with a few mods.

Great job! It took me about the same amount of time too. Mine has steadily increased in gas milage since I made the change. It also feels a lot better too. Makes it feel like a whole new car!:D

Yeah!, You know oddly enough my shift points even seemed there on time and more crisp.
