Calabrio October 9th, 2006, 09:21 PM Has it finally happened?? Have the LS guys finally overtaken the Mark VIII people around here?
Almost all the activity I'm seeing has to do with LS ownership. Are we running out of Mark VIIIs, or is it just that there aren't many other good LS sites while VIII owners have a variety to chose from?
....either way, it is starting to look like a changing of the guard.

mark0101 October 11th, 2006, 05:22 AM I was going to say that. LS threads are mostly about exterior upgrades as for the marks there isn't any stuff like that. Yea we take pride in what we own but the LS guys always complain.

AforkingMEN. There are relatively few performance posts in the LS forum. Most are Bling-Bling related posts.

I am probably the only LS owner that has a SCT Pro Racer's Package so as you can tell, I am serious about playing with my LS. :D We do have a member that has put a supercharger on his LS and is still fine tuning the setup. There are not a lot of performance mods for the LS and most of what we have is very limited in scope. The 00-02 has some issues but most of the 03+ models are pretty trouble free. When I went looking for an LS, I wanted an 03+ simply becuase of all the improvements in the platform. Not knocking the older LS owners, just wanted something that was less troublesome and still had factory warranty. Mine was a Lincoln CPO and came with the 6yr 75K mile extended warranty. So far I am having a blast driving it. It is my daily driver and as mentioned before, I am making notes on it so the mods will have to be minor for now. I think maybe I just need to find a MKVIII to hotrod. :)
