Just trying to humor things!! Brandon you are not going to get 3,800 for your car be reasonable, just because blue book says it's worth 3,800 dosen't mean you are going to get it. $2,500 is a fair price :p

The value of the Mark is profoundly influenced by what part of the country you are in. Around here, you might get that $4k...assuming it hasn't been rotted by snow and road salt.

I paid $3900 for my loaded '95 with 74k miles and in near-perfect condition. And that included having the dealer drive 90 minutes to deliver it to my front door.

Go to edmunds.com and check out their book value.. It tends to be much more in line with the real world.

I think KBB just publishes wildly-inflated prices so dealers can advertise a car as $500 below book, while still being ridiculously overpriced. Otherwise, why would they have a separate "secret" book that they only sell to dealers?

I dont think 3800 is rediculous at all.

It's worth whatever you can get for the car, so if you can get $3800, go for it. I am just pointing out that you have competition at that price range. I have no idea about your mileage, mods etc.

96k isn't high for a 96 model. 12k per year x 10 years is 120,xxx miles. I would think that it's below average in the real world.

I drive 15k a year minimum, driving to work alone is 13k. The car is ten years old. Even at the old standard for average mileage of 12k a year, it is still lower mileage than it should be.

I'm on my way to getting my second Mark. A 97 Ivory. I've been seriously thinking of selling My 93. Why have two? I am now seriously thinking of keeping it. Here in Texas, My 93 would probably fetch $4000. But I would hate to let it go after doing all the work I've done to it.
