Isn't this the concept roadster that Lincoln based upon the T-Bird, and therefore, based upon the LS plattform? Besides that, I don't think a convertible coupe could ever be called a replacement to a sedan. It's a completely different class of car.

I have no idea what it is. The only info I could find was calling it a LK2 or L2K. It was suppose to be a 250 hp rear wheel drive vehicle, but I don't know. I was hoping posting it here would get some more info.

Actually the car is not bad. It's too bad that they decided not to produce it, but it was mostly Ford's fault because they cancelled the T-bird shortly after this concept was made, IIRC. There are some styling cues I do not care for, like the very Mark-like front end, but overall a sporty Lincoln convertible would have been interesting (but not something I personally would ever buy).

different strokes for different folks I guess, but I like it. I'd like somethin a little less slanted for the rear and remove the spoiler. Then I'd drive the piss out of it. I like the idea of a Lincoln convt. but then again I also like the looks of the TC and Mark VIII. Oh well just thought I'd share with you guys another product that will never be.

damn that Navicross concept is HOT! i would totally be into a car like that. don't ask me why, but something about Dodge Charger-era body design, with suicide doors and beige leather trim, retro vs. futuristic dash stylings... i'm sold. i am really impressed.
