Headlight Flicker/Dimming

Greetings:
I noticed over the past couple of weeks, that my headlights have been randomly dimming slightly, then undimming. Hard to notice except on very dark roads and as a result, I've only noticed it on highway drives. Occurrs under steady throttle, on smooth roads or bumpy roads, with AC unit off or on, with radio off or on. There seems to be no rhyme or reason? I had the Alternator replaced at the dealership about 3 months ago with a remanufactured unit. Charging system seems ok per the On Board Computer. Im about to go out and put a voltmeter on it, to see what the reading is. The car is a 2002 V8 LSE that I purchased new on 12/2002. Build date is 10/2002 if Im not mistaken, and it does have the original battery. Never has needed a jump, always has started right up. But I am concerned.

Any ideas/thoughts?

Maybe the connectors are starting to go bad?

Thanks for the tips, guys.

I'll doublecheck the connectors. The bulbs? Hmm. I've seen house light bulbs that can give a flicker before death symptom, but never had a car bulb to do that. It also seems like it's both sides...I'll have to let the car run in the garage one night, (with garage door open of course) and stand in front of the car and truly pay attention.
