I'm not 100% on the date yet but I am guessing that it will be the 3rd weekend of July again.
What the buzz right now it to turn the Beach Party in a full blown Car Show and Cruise.
Everything will be moved Down Town... Car involved in the Cruise will line the streets... Again Music, Food, and a lot of LvC Fun!!!
I'm getting together with even more car people now and we are going to try to turn this thing into one hell of a party...
Again there will be a Cruise followed by a parade of cars and then the rest.
There is talk of Prizes, Dash Plaques, Burnout Contests, etc... Plus a Ticket contest.. (This will be won by Chickenviii hands down)..
I'll be booking a block of rooms soon once I know the official dates...
So if you want to be part of the 2nd (Maybe annual) LvC invades Boscobel 2007 party. (Umm Eric and Chicken remember to wash your hands before going to the bathroom).... Start putting your penney's away...
Once again my back yard will be open to anyone wanting to save some money and camp...
Let's shoot for 100 LvC members!!! and let's have a blast.

The Boscobel Chamber of Commerce said they will accommodate the members of LvC as long as Chickenviii keeps paying his fines...
T-Birds are welcome as much as any car enthusiast who want to attend.
Joey don't worry I'm not going to pound the board with invites LOL...
I feel the enthusiasm of those who attended last this Summer will be enough to excite the membership to attend the 2007 meet.
Oh and if Pepperman behaves himself maybe we'll let him go to the area titie bar.

I agree Brent... for me I a weeks notice or even 2 weeks notice isn't enough time to make it to most meets.
Too many family obligations plus with the price of gas I need to plan ahead.
That's why the 2006 Beach Party I started info in February and for the July 2007 Car Cruise and Street Party I'm starting in September. I want LvC to invade this little town.... I'd love to see the bars filled with LvC members, with so many members that not matter where you stopped there would be some LvC members there. I'd love to hear Boscobel talking about all those Lincolns and Cadillacs that were running all over town, and how Hot those Mark VIII's and LS's are. I'd love to hear people talking hey when are those guys coming back... I want LvC to leave a mark (not Mark VIII or tire Mark) but a big impression.
After talking to Jason 02LS(etc).... I am hoping that we can get some fire started with the LS and Cadillac crowd... maybe some friendly competition to get more than Mark VIII members to the meet. (Except Conti, Pepps, and Nyssa) our non-Mark VIII members...who attend LvC meets... Would be nice to see Rollin there with his award winning LS... St. Louis isn't that far away.
I know we'll have one Zephyr there next year but he lives in Boscobel.
So if you want to have some fun! and turn this meet into the biggest LvC Bash ever!!! Pencil in the 3 weekend in July on your calendar. I'll be updating the actual date very soon, and as soon as I know more details I'll be letting everyone know what's happening for 2007...
Oh and Jason... spark the fire in the LS section... see if those guys are alive!!

mespock March 21st, 2007, 09:10 AM Update on the Beach Party. We are trying to make this a city wide event getting more businesses involved. Met last night with the committee and while having a Spotted Cow (Yes a Wisconsin Beer) at the bar. Guys from one of our local dealer ships offered to have a car give away.
They offered to have a hole in one contest to give away a new car. We are still working on the detail and where we are going to have it but it's something added to the goings on for the weekend.
Still working on the bands. We might have music in two locations. Have been playing with the idea of having a battle of the bands for area teen groups. There has even been talk about a wet t-shirt contest LOL... (This is to get Pepperman excited). I suppose he'd want to be the judge. LOL...
Another meeting next week as we try to get more area businesses to the meeting. So put your penny's away and plan for a great weekend.
mespock March 29th, 2007, 11:34 AM Update.... We had a great meeting on Tuesday Night... More community groups are getting involved.
Beach Party will be on Main Street.. Main street will be blocked starting at 4:00 PM on Saturday and waiting for our arrival. All cars in the cruise will be parked on Main Street for the Car Show.
Music will be free this year. (Music has been down graded to allow for the free music). But who cares as it's party time... cars, food, drinks, and great friends.. Music is just background noise for the fun...
I guess there are going to be nurses on hand all day... they said something about organizing a triathlon.... one part being something about bed races...
I was wondering if those coming would like to get t-shirts made.
Something like 2nd annual LvC Boscobel Beach Party Survived or ( I survived the Man ... 2nd annual LvC Boscobel Beach Party) with your Screen Name on back? Just an Idea.. I'm guessing they'd cost between $10 to $15...
