Hi guys, I'm new to the LvC forums. Mostly lurking and reading what I can to improve my vehicle.

I owned a beautiful blue 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII, she had a lot of miles on her and a previous owner had had a front end collision with something and did an almost decent job of hiding it. She had a true dual exhaust installed in her before I got her with new cats and dumps. I drilled out her airbox, pulled out her silencer, removed her resonator and pulled her ailing air suspension system, replacing them with springs. I had big plans in mind for her, but some kid with no headlights hydroplaned into me during a heavy heavy rain and totalled her.
The insurance company was really nice and prompt, but they said that in mint condition, she was only worth $3k but because her back bumper was faded they were going to knock off $249 from that.
After a little looking and a little carfaxing, I found a gorgeous black 1997 Mark VIII and picked her up (just last weekend). I don't have pictures yet, but then I haven't ever really uploaded pictures of my previous Mark to the internet, either.

Hope that wasn't too boring or unnecessary for an introduction, will try to get pictures soon. :)

Thank you :D

I'm hoping to learn a lot from you guys. I'm still pretty new to actually being mechanical with my car, I never really cared until I bought my first Mark.
