how do i change the interior light of my 2000 LS? can i change the lights that are in the housing with the moonroof controls?

Yes you can change the interior lights. I have 11 bulbs that I am about to change to LED White on the car. Driver, passenger door, two footwells, glove compartment, dome light(2), rear dome light, trunk, and
license plate(2).
You have to use a flat head screwdriver, for example, which will help pry loose the lenses and pull down.

so what just pry each individual lense and replace bulb with desired choice?

go 2 lskoncepts.com. scroll 2 the bottom of the page n click on 'tech articles'. u'll find 1 that shows u how 2 change the dome lites. 4 the doors u can just pop the lens off. n under the dash is obvious if uve looked...

ive replaced mine with blue LEDs.. looks great, just follow what these guys said or look at the tech article..

I give credit to LennDawg for this but go to this site which sells the Varad interior white LED lights. You need part number 194 for license plate light, door lights, footwells, and glove compartment. Use 211-2 for the dome lights and trunk light. You need 4 packages of the 194 bulbs they come 2 in a pack and 4 packages of the 211-2 bulbs they come 1 per package. I spent $86 with shipping. Not cheap but will definately change the interior look. You can buy white, blue, red or yellow.

Wow.. those are actually cheaper than the VLED`S i just ordered on ebay. i will have to get one of these varad`s and compare them.. i paid about 10 dollars each, shipping included, for the 212-2`s and a few 194`s with 2 in a pack for about 12 dollars each.. i`m ready to get these to see the difference. i`ll post pics as soon as i get them installed. i just got for the dome and map light, doors and footwells... i plan on getting some more depending on the results.

Yes I ordered the white Verad lights and I received them the other day. I am going to let my car guy install them next Monday. I could probably do it but I do not want to mess around. I will provide pics when I install them.

Hey I was thinking of adding chrome tips to the car. I wanted circular chrome tips that would stick straight out but not far out just a little to give the rear some added muscle. I was thinking of having the shop saw the black bottome part so a tip could be added.

What do you think? you think it would look nice or is this risky??

Oh by the way just installed 2 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 in the car. These things pound man I will show pics of these also next week.

i would man ... those are some real good deals.. i paid about 35 bucks shipping included for 3 212-2`s and 4 194`s, .. go for it man .. but i really dont know which one is better between the varads and vleds... so its up to u.. i would have ordered the varads if i saw them earlier.

I do not know how long the sale lasts, but just imagine all your lights a super white light instead of that yellowish white. If that is a look you want for your interior then go for it.

I replaced my overhead bulbs with blue bulbs I purchased from Advanced Auto Parts. Within a few days the bulbs lost their blue tint. Now they are nearly clear. Where have you all found bulbs that will last longer?

i went with the Advanced Auto Parts blue bulbs and they did the same to me, they sucked! go to the Car Domain store at www.cardomain.com and search for the Varad LEDs... i have the Blue pros in my car and i love them... i also have 2 of the Varad LEDs blue bars, Varad is awesome

I just ordered all the lights in white.. i was told that hyper white is white and that regular white shines yellow.. i hope not.. let me know

Got my 8 HID white and 1 super blue led today and installed them a couple mins ago.. lookin alot better already.. will post some pics tonight.
