Help, Alarm sounds for no reason

My 98 Cont.'s alarm sounds for no reason. How can I disable the alarm??

No, but first try disconnecting the Hood Switch to see if that's the problem.
Large % of this problem is a bad Hood Switch. Other problems can cause this problem as well, usually a Door, Trunk, Seat sensor, or Hood Switch.
