I'm going to put a 385-series engine (probably a 460) into my 65 Continental, backed up by a AOD. Anybody on here undertaken this? I'm thinking I'm going to have to fabricate motor and tranny mounts, and of course get a custom driveshaft made. Anyone aware of prefab mounts, or has anybody already made their own?

get the mounts off you doner motor and the stock ones that came with the car.

thier a way to cut them apart and to take the 2 halves and drill a hole in them both and bolt them togeter
IE the side that mounts to new motor bolted to the side the bolts to car.

I know what I am typing don't make much sence.... PM if you don't understand.
