Years ago when I first got the plate, a friend of mine owned a Ford Lightning. He said he was going to get that plate and kept bragging about it non stop.

About 4 months later (just when I was up to re-register my car) he did something stupid (I won't say what), and to get back at him, I went to the DMV and took it instead.

Now every time we see eachother he's reminded not to do that dumbass thing again.
