My pump is going to need to be replaced soon on my 94 Conti and my default option for replacement is a reman. unit from Advance Auto. I know that Ford pumps are noisy even new, is there another manufactuer of these pumps or some oter alterntive I can use so I can get a quiet one?

The motor is smooth and quiet besides this pump.

I got a rebuild from advance auto.. was noisy for a few days, then quieted down... I figure it was still working air out of the fluid... good time to change out fluid too. Not just whats in the res, but flushing the lines and rack.
