Although I live in Tucson, Arizona... I try not to use my A/C, except when I am driving other people around. So.. after not using my A/C for a good month or so, I turned it on yesterday to hear the fan making an odd sound. Almost like a squeaking sound. Now.. it is not just the A/C.. but the Fan, because the sound continues even when the A/C is turned off. The sound is worse when I accelerate or hit bumps. To me, it sounds like it is coming from right behind or under the glove (er box of papers and ipod) compartment.
Any ideas?

It's the heater/AC fan. It's located behind the glove box area. Mine needed to be replaced under warranty at 10k miles. I have an 04V6 LS.

Soo... would you happen to know how to get to the fan to replace it?
Also.. this is not related.. but do you know of any cool brake light mods?

I haven't tried to R and R a fan on one of these. Some cars are easy, some are an absolute b1tch. When you get the fan out, check and see if you don't have something foreign in there hitting or binding the fan. Where it changes noise by accelerating or hitting a bump, you may have something in there.
