How do i remove the ashtray? i removed the wood trim, then took the two screws out, disconnected my heated seats, but still under the ashtray assembly there are wires and i cant see where to disconnect them

cig ligther wires, the should just discconnect from the back of the lighter, pain in the arse, yes.

after the two screws are out just give it a little tug. There is a round peice of rubber in the back that holds it in place.

After you take the two bolts out you do have to work it around to get it out. There isnt anything that will break, its just a pain in the ass. And if you think getting it out is hard, putting it back in isnt any easier.

Did the same thing myself trying to replace the cigarette lighter. I didn't want to break anything, so I stopped at the wires too. Did yours stop working? Mine had, but every since I did all that fondling with the wires, it started working again and no problems since???
