im doing a 255 pump, and looking at the top of the pump there is the connection for the harness, the fitting for the fuel line, and then there are two recessed holes, one says + one says -. Since im using the harness do i have to do anyhting with them?

also, i broke off the retainer ring from the filter...is there any way i can reconnect it, or do i have tobuy a new filter?

Im gonna be doing my pump tomorrow morning also the 255 pump. I dont have any input to help you but was wondering if i have to do anything special when removing the tank. I dont think i do but I am not completely sure.
