Since I've had the car it has said
Door Ajar and
Check Air-Ride System.
I know the door is shut..
and the air ride system
was converted over to
spring system.. soo i dont understand
why it says CHECK AIR-RIDE system
and the air ride switch in the back
is shut off too so it says
AIR RIDE SYSTEM OFF
CHECK AIR RIDE SYSTEM
DOOR AJAR
the ding noise everytime i start the car
is very annoying
how can i fix it

well, the door ajar thing is the door pin 99% of the time.. its a cheapo part and pretty easy to fix.. ya just have to figure out which door pin..
the air ride off thing is because the switch is off.. if all other air ride componants are non-working them switch it on.. it wont do anyting but stop sending the message
and if you converted to springs.. it will always say check air ride.. but i am pretty sure there is a way to cut a certain wire or something similar to stop that message

spray wd40 in the door latch on both sides, open and close the door a few times. guarenteed to stop the message.

I got this from Eddie at American Air Suspension (http://www.americanairsuspension.com/).
TURN OUT THE "CHECK SUSPENSION" MESSAGE
First of all, turn the suspension switch OFF in the trunk.
(This switch is on the drivers side in the trunk)
Remove glove compartment and locate the air suspension module.
NOTE: Looking inside where the glovebox used to be, the suspension module will be the farthest away from you and is mounted on the sidewall toward the front of the vehicle. It will be black in color and has 2 connectors plugging into it. If my memory serves me right, one connector is grey and the other one is black.
Locate and cut the DARK GREEN wire with the LIGHT GREEN stripe or "tracer". This will be the wire to cut on most models.
NOTE:
You can also remove the RH kick panel if you have trouble getting access to the wiring bundle.
Tape ANY and ALL wires to prevent a short circuit!
Leave the module connected and turn the suspension switch ON in the trunk.
NOTE:
Some people have been known to disconnect the connectors going to the module.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!
The air suspension module controls more than just the air suspension. It also handles the EVO, or "Electronic Variable Orifice" for the steering.
