cavemansmarkviii August 25th, 2006, 09:16 AM If you need them $250 NIB, better than the $651 bulbs I found last. Go here

JC1994 August 25th, 2006, 04:42 PM nothing cheap about $250.00 each. funny thing, you can buy a 400 watt Metal Halide HID bulb at Lowes or Home Depot for $25.00.
cavemansmarkviii August 25th, 2006, 04:46 PM Not cheap, just cheaper.
cavemansmarkviii August 25th, 2006, 04:47 PM Also way better than what 230 something used on ebay.
mrzeee August 25th, 2006, 05:06 PM OK OK
Here is the straight deal..........
The current price for a new bulb is (before the sept increase????) $256.37 retail and LVC cost would be $184.58 IF they were available. Those in stock now (approx 50 at ford) are for EMERGENCY orders only!! and ford charges 15% plus freight to discourage hoarding, if I want one. The other guys want $229.00 for them and if you gotta have it you gotta have it. Ford is still saying in the next 2-3 weeks we will have them. There 448 in transit to the stocking depots and will be distributed to stock orders when recd.
I have a couple dozen on order and will announce the current price when they are here for sale.

Thanks for the info Maxx, I feel a little better now. I want to be able to get a spare pair when they become more available, after the people who need them now so they can drive at night get replacements.
cavemansmarkviii August 26th, 2006, 05:54 PM I wasn't trying to remove you from the picture Max, I've just been trying to find some bulbs for those who need them. I too may buy spares after everyone else is taken care of as mine work just fine now.
m_maker August 26th, 2006, 09:05 PM I have these bulbs available NOW for less than the ebay price.
Calabrio August 27th, 2006, 03:07 PM I just find it amazing we're all talking about a isposable part, for a critical function ono ur cars, that are in limited available, that cost $200 each. And this parts failure is a when, not if, issue....
mrzeee August 28th, 2006, 01:38 PM Hey Caveman
I did not post in that way. I was just letting everyone know a status on the bulbs. No harm no foul. I am easy to get along with and try to work with everyone!!
