Broken axel? No problem.

Ours have larger main shafts and much stronger cv joints. They will take far more abuse then stock. 4x4 heavy duty rubber boots. Warranty included.

$189.99 each plus s&h. This is an introductory price and will expire /9/30/2006/

That tells us a lot. :/

I'll stick with my Raxles. If they ever break, I'm having some custom ones made.

i have noticed frog man always throws in his half sense and its always negative. Learn to keep your comments to yourself

Wicked, I'll be nicer when you start being smarter. Now please, what is your major malfunction with me, exactly?

This is the second comment of this kind you have made towards me. Do we have a problem that needs to be adressed? I always throw in my "half sense and it's always negative"? The hell are you talking about? Does it bother you that I speak my mind? Does it bother you that I'm not some sort of a lemming follower who always agrees with the powers to be, just to be in their graces?

I respect the admin staff here, and until I am asked to stop speaking my mind on the forums, I will continue to do so. If the Admin team decides to Ban me, then I will accept that, and go somewhere else. This is not the only Lincoln related site around. One of the best? Deffinitely. But not the only one.

My questions may not make sense to some dimmer witted people, but I assure you, there is a reason for my questions and/or comments. Some may perceive them as negative, and frankly, idngaf about how they perceive said comments. I do give one about people making the types of posts you do towards me. This is the second of such posts you've made. No, I don't take it as a personal attack. But I do take objection to it. Get off you high golden horse and let's try and keep the personal feelings about fellow members to ourselves, ok?

I merely asked Geno who made the half shafts, and when he was being elusive about it, I commented on it. I'm sure they are good half shafts and all, but with all repsect to Geno (and he knows he has my respect), that doesn't tell me squat. "The best around" in one's book may mean the "cheapest to manufacture" in anothers' book. I could ask details that would not involve revealing his manufacturer. Details like how much Torque these half shafts can take before breaking. Are there any tests proving that? What kind of metal are the u-joints and shafts made of? What's the shaft OD? etc. etc.

I decided to go with Raxles Half Shafts. At a little over $300 per Half shaft, they are guaranteed to hold at least 700ft lbs of torque. If I break one, I have another one on the way for free. And I speak from past experiences with the company. $600+ may be a tad bit for most, so 209 is not a bad price. But I am a firm believer in the old addage of "You get what you pay for". If the buyer's mark VIII only puts out say 400-500Ft lbs of torque, then Genos may be just what he needs. If the car puts out more, then what?

Geno:
I'm not trying to put a damper on your sales. I merely ask questions and tell of MY experiences with similar products.

I'll tell you want my problem with you is, I can't keep up with your spending habits! You're killing me here! saw the engine, very nice!

back on topic, you're right, nothing wrong with asking questions, especially when you bring up valid points. I've had other places feed me with lines of bs trying to sell me a product (cough.....reinhart......cough :shifty: ). No point beating around the bush, we're the consumer, we want the best bang for our buck!
