3rd alternator has gone bad...

Well after 9 months of fighting with a garage and replacing just about everything they can get their hands on my car is still not in running condition. Last night on the ride home my battery light came on, ABS light came on, radio shut off along with the climate control. Now so far this is the timeline of events...

1st alt. went bad so i decided to have it replaced and get inspected at the same time

*My car gets broken into and i fight with the insurance company for 6 months before anything gets taken care of*

6 months later the garage runs the 6 month old fuel through the car causing more problems that i need to fix.

Get my car back to find it isn't charging correctly again so they relace the alternator and battery.

I get the car back and the system is now overcharging at 15.4-15.8 volts so i have to fight even more to get them to check all the wiring and replace the alternator again.

Now were back to the beginning of my post again...

My question is... am i missing something i should be checking? They already checked the battery terminals, battery cables, battery connections, IAR pigtail at the alt, Possible bad grounds, there's a new belt and tensioner... I mean they could have lied and not ran through the list if items i told them to check but i have no way of knowing. Could i just be in need of a new either higher performance alternator or a ford reman (130 amp) non napa brand alt? I am running out of patience here and really need some outside thoughts.

Just bad alternators? What brand(s) were they? And what else had you gone through to determin it was the alternator? I don't mean to ask so many questions but it's just really starting to make me mad because i can't figure it out.

Parts store remans usually suck. No big surprise there.

Autozone lifetime warranty alternators = a lifetime of replacing them.

Unseen corrosion on my battery cables killed 2 alternators. I would have them replaced as a precaution.
