is their any special way to pain the trim bezel on the LS since its chrome? I want to give it the final LSE look by painting it green like in this pic....also for the rear as well.... does the piece just need to be sanded?

Why don't you just buy an LSE grille? Even if it's not the correct color, it can be stripped and repainted without the hassle of de-chroming.

isnt that the mclaren grille?... if yes, then there is no chrome on it, u can buy it from lskoncepts unpainted.. or painted but i dunno about that color

yes you can paint the chrime. just sand it down prime it and use a good paint that will flex (most likely an acrylic enamel). then you can clear coat it. saves alot of money over buying a new bezel

Yes, you can paint chrome... scuff it with some 220 grit paper, shoot on a layer of self etching primer, then the base coats, then the clear. You can order paint from www.paintscratch.com in a shake can for the color of your car. Relatively inexpensive to do.

re-touching the issue i was talking to my paint guy and he said that you can paint the bezel but since it was chome originally it will eventually peel off or crack? what do you guys say to that?

I say buy an lse grill and paint it to match your car!
