I love Mark series, period. I used to drive my dad's '75 Mark IV as a kid & his '84 Mark VII as a young adult when he purchased it in 1994 w/66k from Auto City of Dallas for $9,000. It was white on white and like new, only the rear air bags started getting a mind of their own after only 6mo's.
I bought my first '94 Mark in Dec '96 while working at the post ofc w/52k mls from Hiley Mazda in Arlington, TX for $15,999. It was Medium Willow green w/tan interior. It was picked up by Mazda American Credit (FMC) in Sept '98 after I resigned from the Post Office to go back to college w/State funding.
In Feb '00 I purchased my second '94 Mark VIII which was pearl w/light gray interior and a sunroof for $6700. It had 99k and the tranny wasn't as bold as the tranny in my first one but it still rose hell. It was traded after many tranny, engine, motor mount, & air ride problems.
This year I purchased a '95 Mark VIII the same color as my first one for $2400 w/162k but quickly traded it a week later for a fourth '94 model w/154k but in good condition. The person that sold me the third one thought I was a cool Mark VIII fan so he traded me the third one for the fourth and even swapped several parts to make the fourth one run and look better.
The fourth one is Jade Green w/tan leather interior (good condition) w/a few black accents I added like mats, gear shift cover, steering wheel cover, & front seat beads. The area under the steering wheel is exposed but hardly visible. The console/armrest & glove compartment had been switched to black already.
