well if any of you have read any of my other threads, i have been putting in massive hard work into this 93 lincoln. so recently after doing the spring / coil conversion along with new shocks for the back and new lower control arms for the front, i get a popping noise when i first put the car into reverse from the front right . does anyone have any clue on what could be making this noise?
also i have a bad oil leak coming from the oil pan, how hard is the job to swap the oil pans out?
one more thing. lol
when i am turning left, the wheel gets stuck and i have to strugle with it to turn, whats this and how much to fix

When you engange the shifter into reverse, or when you begin to move the vehicle?

PITA. You have to drop the K-member.

Only to the left? Check the PS fluid first. If that's okay, turn the wheel to the left until it's in the stuck position. Then, exit the vehicle and check the wheel wells for clearance issues. Other than that, the steering rack may need attention.

the popping noise it makes goes when i start to move.
the power steering fluid is fine, and my wheels have plenty of clearance, how much is it to replace a steering rack? DIY

You may need new lower control arms/ ball joints. I had that same noise in my Gen-II from my right front. I'd begin backing out of my driveway and hear the noise. I replaced the LCA, and the noise disappeared.
As for the steering rack- I don't know the price. It may not even be that- so I won't jump to conclusions. Let some other members chime in first.

That's what I did. I put some hardening putty on my pan, and the leak went away.
Good luck with it!

I had that problem once. The bolt connecting the lower control arm to the K member was loose. My bolt and nut was rusted and wouldn't torque down properly. This bolt also has the camber adjusting cam on it. Maybe when you got it aligned it wasn't torqued down enough?
It's an easy check, just carefully look at it when a friend rocks the car forward and backwards a couple of times.

i didnt get it aligned yet, i was waiting to finish the back springs, maybe thats why.
but either way the left sticking isnt happening no more since i fixed the back so thats a good sign.
i wonder if i can find someone to align it for me today
