has anyone ever tried to remove the first set of cats and put in some highflow units further down in the exhaust? it appears that the cat is part of the exhaust manifold on one side, but i was curious if anyone has been able to cut it out and replace it with piping, which would allow u to run highflow universal cats further off the downpipe. just curious.

It's been done, but the best setup is with a set of Kook's headers.
