For those who said it cant be doneWicked_LS July 4th, 2006, 03:42 PM This is my 2001 Lincoln LS8 with black sealed headlights that i cleared out. so who says it cant be done. beaups July 4th, 2006, 03:53 PM care to share how you opened them? Wicked_LS July 4th, 2006, 03:56 PM i didnt open them i used a lighter metal sheers and a screwdriver. thats why in the last picture you see the side marker broken into pieces Which means i didnt break the seal and they will not leak FastNsmoothLS July 4th, 2006, 04:00 PM Now it looks even more killer man. After that phone call good things happened. This is what I did with my corner lights... Denn, the car looks neat bro. Wicked_LS July 4th, 2006, 04:05 PM looks awesome cant even notice them FastNsmoothLS July 4th, 2006, 04:12 PM I had to use a different color code as close as I could find. How do you like the look on your car now? I think it looks so neat and clean... That color on your car sets it appart from the rest... Great Job bro. Wicked_LS July 4th, 2006, 04:14 PM lol well as soon as i get an electric dremil i will clean it up with some other things i already told you about. i wish i could find a color code close to mine to do it to my side markers like you but no pearl zable to be found at the auto store lol FastNsmoothLS July 4th, 2006, 04:20 PM The only way you can get the exact color match is from an auto paint supplier shop. You get them the code, they'll mix the paint and then pressurize it into cans. It's good, but you called me later in the day and the idea just popped in my mind and I couldn't wait. LOL. I hope the color wont change much with time... lol Wicked_LS July 4th, 2006, 04:36 PM lol if it does just re spray it. i was gonna get some paint cans made with my mustang color but they never told me the price and i dont know if they can do it with a pearl color. since my car has white then a pearl layer ontop of the white not sparayed at one time know what i mean GrayGhost1 July 4th, 2006, 06:19 PM Well, no one said it couldn't be done. However, since you didn't take the headlights apart it is a pain in the a$$ to get them apart in good condition. Doing what you did can be done but you can not install the angel eye rings without taking the headlights apart unfortunately. Wicked_LS July 4th, 2006, 07:08 PM i understand that part of it ken but i plan to take them apart completely in the future to install the kit as well as do a few other ideas i have to them. and it did take forever each headlight took about 4-5 hours BatMobile July 4th, 2006, 11:45 PM nice job. i know that took some time! | ||||
