My front left wheel speed sensor is bad (hooked it up to a diagnostic machine) and it's kicking my abs and advancetrak off. So i called the dealer and they said they could order it but asked if it was a bolt on or snap on. The bolt on is 25 bux. The snap on is 85 bux. How do i find this out?
It's an 02 LS sport.

look at the sensor. It it has a bolt holding it to the spindle then it's a bolt on sensor. Alternately, if it's snapped in....

i thought i could find out another way (certain years had certain sensors).
BTW, where is the sensor located???

The sensor is most likely located on the back side of the spindle, and protruding through the spindle to just on top of the ABS ring on the hub. I don't own an Ls, so I couldn't give you an exact location, but that's where most Front Wheel ABS sensors are located.

I guess it really doesn't matter what you have. You need it regardless.

yeah it's a big black box, you can see it easily, just turn the wheel and stick your head back there, it's on the back of the knuckle etc. mine has screws (02 LSE)
