we have a 5/95 LSC in our shop today. has the LSC badge on the right corner of the trunk. no HIDs.


has 178k miles and it shows :(

i have a 95 i beleive build date of 3 -95 and it has the lsc badge on the trunk that is the only id to see visual to say its a lsc except no bumper chrome or side molding chrome and the perforated leather seats the true dual exhaust and the diff rear end gearing i would assume the lsc badge whent on when they reintuduced the lsc in mid model year of 95 hope this helps

my LSC doesnt have the badge. it has lincoln on the lower right corner of the trunk.

is it a lsc do you hve true dual exhaust perforated leather and no body chrome if not its a base mark viii

The decklid could have been damaged and replaced with one from a salvage yard also.

I stripped all my emblems, waxing is now half the work! :)

If its a LSC it should have the emblem on the back. Oddly the front bumper had the LINCOLN badge. The emblems interchange. I put a LSC on the front to match the back, I think it looks nice.

Notice also, that LSC's dont have the chrome trim around the front, rear bumpers and also the side trim pieces do NOT have chrome strips.

i know its an LSC. i asked what to look for before i bought it. i verified the pref leather, duals, and 3.27 gears 2 weeks before i bought the car.

i was trying to figure out why it didnt have the badge. i was thinking the earliest 1s dont have it. i still have to check my build date.

Yours doesn't have the 32valve intech jiberish next to the MarkVIII either, that came in somewhere in mid late 95 around the same time as the LSC option. If I had to guess all LSCs had that. Either your car is seriously distorting under that turn (I doubt that) or its been whacked in the rear, your truck reveals are pretty obviously out of whack.

i also plan on every poly bushing i can find. i want to try to maximize the stock air suspension.

It doesn't matter.

Custom seats or perforated donor seats out of an "LSC" along with the "LSC" side moulding and bumper covers, a gear change, custom exhaust, and either stripped emblems or LSC emblems and you, DO have.. a real LSC.

You don't have to sport all the LSC stuff. You just have to have a good reason why the LSC stuff is no longer there, and nobody can tell you that your car didn't come as an LSC.

Even the base mark viii's title (at least in 1996) states "mark viii dia ann/lsc"

I don't doubt its an LSC, just thought the truck was wrong. Floor mats don't mean squat, probably just replaced or the dealer didn't put the right ones in originally.
