well at least i will be getting a new transmission .. while i was driving it the check transmission notification came on and once in a while it would lightly buck when pulling off so i just took it back and they drove it and that note came on and WHAM into the dealers shop it went...and it was the Torque Converter so they said well we will just change everything in the trans new they ordered all the parts right infront of me from the Lincoln Parts Dept. i will have it back in a few days well until then i will continue driving my 88 LSC

you got really lucky, now all you need to do is let them change your air suspension..lol.

well I was just saying that cuz the main problem with the conti's are tranny and air suspension.

lol well if i have to change it i can be done and i like the fact that it only has air struts on the rear

yeah thats nice cuz I gave $2600 to the stealership to fix my front air bags

well shes back and still that all world famous lincoln ride.. all new torque converter and all new transmission with a hell of a warranty..

I had a 98 conti sold it with 112k miles for $5k still regret it. only issues I had were

2 bad coils one at 82k one at 90k
1 alternator at 109k
battery at 109k
brakes at 40 and 75k
serpentine belt at 75k
new plugs at 75k
tranny flush at 75k

Thanks it was about time i guess for an upgrade but this will just give me time to get some things setup for mt 88 mark to get done if i dont decide to sell her
