Anyone have a ticking sound coming from their engine? i have a 2000 deville. it seems to work fine and the oil level is fine, but it just has this little ticking sound.. just wondering if its normal for devilles.

It's probably your lash adjusters (valvetrain). What oil are you using?

Ticking is probably just the fuel injectors opening and closing which is normal. The sound is greatly reduced with the 'sight shield' in place - that plastic thing that goes on top of the engine.
EDIT: I was incorrect about the lash adjusters.
