JUST AN FYI

Don't know if you or anyone else noticed but there are threads missing. Was yesterdays the move to the NEW LVC Home? I can FWD/send you e-mails to show you what is missing.

The Godfather said it would be sometime this week when the move was made. Which threads are missing?

Actually post within the threads from the following threads listed below that i have e-mail notifications for between the 2 AM to 5 AM which was the last notification

I have noticed a difference in the clock settings, here it is 6:01 and the clock on the post says it is 6:11.

I would expect some to be missing if it did and that's no biggy but just wanted to to point it out just in case something was wrong if it wasn't the move

I actually made a post before I did it last night, but the DNS propagated so damn fast, nobody say it!

Actually, we lost remarkably few posts because of that.

We are also going to upograde the forum software tonight. One of the reasons the site has been a bit sluggish is the number of database calls that are being made. I will be working through the night to upgrade things. This includes the gallery, which we tried to upgrade, but we found out it doesnt work well with this software version.

Oh, just so you dont have to ask Joey, serverload was about 3.5 usually before - now its .35 :D

I thought so but then again it was kind of crazy cuz i thought you would just do a restore but ok guess it's not that easy. What threw me off was the number of post that didn't change this moring as me and PEP were talking about it.

HAHA that must have been the fastest DNS switch you or i have ever seen, There goes your warning right out the window with that one. well glad to hear we been moved. Also glad to hear i'm not going crazy cuz i've been the only one noticing :D

Its not worth restoring just for a few posts honestly. I would have to shut the board down for that. I just copy it all to the new server, and take the loss of a handful of posts. Its the nature of the beast when your dealing with such a dynamic site.

Mostly at this point, all thats left is tweaking server settings and making sure everything is the latest version.

I hear ya, just got a little spooked is all only cuz me and PEP were the only ones noticing :D

But go ahead work your magic tweek her up for all she's worth only wish i could play with her for a lil bit before you did anything but my day will come :D
