Hey guys last night i ran into a pretty cool guy that was willing to have some fun ;) anyways we went at it couple times... 1st run he got on it before me and beat me by a car and a half, but i started to catch up slowly top end. 2nd run we went from 1st gear roll i had a slight jump, maybe a fender, and i pulld about a car and a half by 100, 3rd run we went off the line and he jumpd on it just a bit off the line but we stayed even through 1st then once i hit second i started to leave him slowly and by 120 had about 2 cars on him. I had a full tank of gas and i had 1 friend with me, all i know is that he had 2 friends with him and im not sure if he had anything done to it, im guessing not.. My car is stock but i did do the airbox modification which i didnt realy see it make a diff.. anyways when we went from the line we both powerbrake so im guessing he knows what his doing..

Oh the car was black color and it lookd real clean... if ur on here thats was a good race man :D

either he DIDNT kno how to drive or you were up against an SLS. My 97 ETC chews LS V8s out all day long and the STS is nothing but a 4 door version of my 2 door

Was the grille the same color as the car? What did the wheels look like?

Im not at all trying to knock your ride believe me its just i run down quite a BIT in my ETC and STS's and ETCs have MORE power towards top end (around 5000 rpm is peak power) so at HIGHER speeds he should pull away while an SLS has more torque and power lower in the band and would pull from the line but in higher rpms get shut down, not to mention its 112 mph governer.
