either a bad sensor down on the oil pan,or as was my problem the sensor wire was broke about 3 inches off the pan.

anything else it might be,i dont know.check those wires first

thanks mike i will check those things out i have to do a oil change soon then i will see :)

i have the same problem - is the sensor easy to spot on the pan?

If I remember correct- it is pretty obvious - round plug on side of the pan with at wire comming out.
