On another site I have read numerous ppl saying how they love there exhuast. All they did was remove mufflers,3rd cat, and resonator with new chrome tips. Cost 100 bucks as most to do and they say they get better gas mileage and frees up some hp. Ive posted before on exhuast and everyone hear loves the 2 in 2 out magnaflow but im hearing a almost free exhuast with hp gains better gas mileage and good sound have u ever first hand heard or perhaps did this kind of exhuast before, just asking for your .2 cents on this.

I went with removing 2 of 3 cats and put a high flow cat on along with removing the mufflers and just a resonator and 4 inch tips. No mufflers at all, it will pass emissions fine and it sounds so much nicer than alot that have mufflers on. It is loud

Did u see hp gains or better gas mileage?

i seen probably a loss of gas mileage cause im always on the gas just to hear the car. I did the exhaust with no mufflers cause my buddy has a vette with straight pipes and the thing sounded better than any mufflers you would buy in my opinion. Trust me you wont be disapointed with the sound of the pipes. here is a pic of the pipes :)

I am not running any mufflers as well. motorsport shorty headers, DynaTech high flow cats, and a custom made X pipe. :cool:

no mufflers is the way to go

My set up sounds pretty damn good. And I can pass emmissions too.
