The tranny might be done for if the 1-2 accumulator piston is that bad...

All depends on who comes along. Try it on ebay, set your reserve and see what you get.

Buy the Conti - its a nice mix because it isnt too big like the TC, and still has alot of room - plus its FWD so women seem to like it better. Get a 98 Conti for about $5k - $6k

I just went to a local toyota dealer today who had a 96 mark VIII listed in the paper for $6,500. They said it was perfect cond. When I got there it was junk! dents, bondo, ripped up center console, etc... I bet someone will come along and buy it too! Just not me.

If your car is straight and clean I think you can get the $4k, u might have to fix that trans though. Good luck on selling it. Try listing it on craigs list.

$4k might be a little high but you never know.

Not true...When i first wanted to sell my mark, i listed it for $7k when i had 60k on it, and the 1-2 was starting to die, but i had quite a few people come to look at it...no one bought it though.

Start high and let them talk you down, that way you get what you want for it and they think they are getting a good deal by saving a few bucks!
