I only named mine Mark because RMR asked for a nickname. I've never named a car before.

I have always named my cars/trucks because they are very important part of my being and personality. Guess I must be weird.

I call my Town Car the LTC II (My father actually christened it, when I had my 1st Town Car (1982 Sig. Series.), Ol' Pops looked me in the eye and said:" That's not a real Lincoln son, what you have is an overbloated LTD!" )So,he changed the "D" in LTD to a"C"(to be sarcastic!) and abused the FORD reference, every time the car had any problems.(I was attending college at the time and living@home still.) {i.e. Hey kid! That F*@#$%' LTC givin' yah a wicked time again? HAW-HAW-HAW!} So I named the '97 the LTC II in honor, and rag Pops on his '03 Gran Marq and his '96 Conti. And the II part because this is my 2nd Town Car.(REAL LINCOLNS HAVE REAR-WHEEL DRIVE! Ya ol' buzzahd!) (Yah drive a Mahrcury Grandmah's cahr?)
(Pops grew up around Boston, so I gotta make fun of his accent!)
And 10 years later, the LTC II actually sounds pretty slick now.
