My 2002 STS has 43,000 miles---and the tires are starting to show wear...When making sharp turns at slow speeds (on a quiet street)
I can hear a "woof, woof or wuff, wuff" sound---from front end, as the wheels rotate...
Is this normal...Could it be coming from the tires---inside the wheel ---or
something else...?

If you hear a humming sound and/or have slight vibration in the steering wheel, or hear unusual sounds when turning, it could indicate a hub bearing assembly needs to be replaced.

Thanks MAC but there is no humming or vibration...Just a slight rubbing
(wuff, wuff) noise as the wheels rotate...
