Awesund May 12th, 2006, 10:19 PM Well, looking at the tag on that wheel... it's a GT Grant, from the Collectors Edition series.
Just do an internet search on GT Grant and I'm sure you'll find your wheel.
Some of your local auto parts stores will sell GT Grant wheels. Look at their book.
JoshMcMadMac May 13th, 2006, 03:28 PM Summit has them too. It's just a Grant steering wheel, I'm running a GT wheel in black.
SilverFox May 23rd, 2006, 11:52 AM looks like shiiit
see how it doesn't mate to the colum and show wires!
xllsc007 May 26th, 2006, 07:01 AM How can u say it looks bad verse the old one?
SilverFox May 26th, 2006, 09:38 AM Agreed...the 85-89 wheels are super ugly, but I only have 90+ M7's, and those wheels look nice to start with.
xllsc007 May 26th, 2006, 09:42 AM ok
SilverFox May 26th, 2006, 09:50 AM SInce you sell this wheel, is there a wheel that HIDES the column that looks nice in our car?
JoshMcMadMac May 26th, 2006, 03:43 PM Silverfox, my Grant Challanger GT wheel covers it great...but this is in pre-'90, as that was before the air bags.

OldSchool1 May 28th, 2006, 04:29 PM Some people like the "Safety Air Bag Delete" :) I'm not one of them, but I like your set up Josh. The center cap IS large enough to cosmetically make the modification sound and appealing.

Yea, that's illegal though. I didn't have to worry about that on my 89, though. Mine came with two different size cover/connectors, and I would imagine the first picture in this thread just used the small adapter.
OldSchool1 May 28th, 2006, 08:52 PM Now I see.
Thanks.
SilverFox May 30th, 2006, 08:12 AM That one looks very complimentary.
Blackhearts June 1st, 2006, 06:22 PM The pic that started this post was my steering wheel. But it wasn't a finished product when that shot was done.
Here's how it looks now. And as far as colors not matching, the flash going off inside my car makes some of the grey interior look brownish. Trust me, it matches just fine.
Here's two shots of it taken earlier today:
