I experienced water in the passenger side of the car. It seems that becasue the A piller was wet there is a leak around the windshield. The water puddled on the floorboard, that's how much watercame in. What can I do to fix this if anything, or do I have to put it in the shop?

thanks

I have the same problem. I also had the problem with my rear driver "c" pillar. On the "A" pillar on the front passenger side water just appears from about the top of the door and drips all the way down, inevitably pooling abot 3" of water in my hard plastic door pocket! (not the leather one). I'm not sure what causes this, I think it may have something to do with the rubber sealant around the door frame or something...I'm probably going to take mine into the dealership unless someone on here comes up with a solution.

Its becuase there are drain tubes running down the pillars on our LS's, this is done so that the moonroofs can slightly leak and not water log the car. When these tubes become clogged with leaves or debris the water backs up and flows inside of the car.

I think 02V8sport has it right. Mine drain tube actually came undone and was causing leaking in the same spot. I would definitely check that out.

I know there are some drains on the bottom of the door that get lots of debris, u can open ur door up and clear out the debris... i've done that.. as far as clearing the other drains.. (i'm assuming there are more).. i dont know where they are.. so i wouldnt be able to tell u how to drain them..

if u didnt know.. (cause i didnt)... if u leave ur door panel off the car and u go to a car wash (like i did).. u will see water all inside the door.. when u open up the door it opens though.. i wish it wasnt like this cause i have lambo doors and it scares me but w/e
