I'm bout to put some 20's on my '03 LS6 and can get a far better deal on some 255's than on 245 tires. Will I have any clearance rubbing problems at stock ride height? What if I drop 1"-1.25" with the Eibachs?
Thanks peoples!

I have been debating the same thing. I am lowered with eibachs on 245/35/20 and was also thinkin bout the 255 for some more rubber. Anyone know if it will work?

17107I guess it depends on the brand of tire! I got one General Exclain UHP 255/35/20 tire mounted on one of my 20" Vagare V5 Faceplant wheels for fitting. The front on my '03 LS was fine, however the rear did not look like it would clear while driving. A dip in the road would cause it to contact the fender. I'm taking the mounted tire to my body shop on Monday to get the fender rolled. I also want to put the Eibach drop on it, and realize that with the change in camber that comes with lowering, it will probably tuck nicely.
Wish me luck.

I'm sitting on 20" Giovanna's with a 245/35/ZR20 Pirelli's. I have the stock ride height and still have problems with scrubin' the right rear on bad dips! Just have to watch for those BUMPS! My problem is mostly the strut is weak but I'm thinkin about baggin' it so haven't replaced it yet. I have seen 255's on a LS but it was TIGHT! 245's are just right!
